E-Valuator™: Description

One of the biggest challenges to discovering value for customers is being able to determine "what Value is". More often, companies bundle a group of their best benefits and features, convincing themselves that it must be beneficial for the customer. Next, most companies present these bundles to their customers, convinced that the bundle represents a compelling offer to them.

We help you define Value from the customer's perspective and how that Value positively or negatively impacts customers.

Substance does matter more than style in this case.


The E-Valuator tool by SYNECTION™ is designed to help your team diagnose its current Value offering(s).

Customer Value that wins the customers' business meets very clear criteria that are critical to business success. These criteria are:

The target customer is clearly identified.

Specific Customer Value benefits for the targeted customers are defined.

The Value identified really matters to the customers.

What really matters to customers can be measured.

There is a clear and obvious connection between what the customer does and is looking to achieve.

The Customer Value must be feasible for the business to deliver.

Instructions

1) Briefly describe the "value" of your company and its products/services to your customers. Adequately explain what the value is of your company and its products/services to your customers. Use bullet points if need be.

2) Using our 5-point scale, rate each of the 6 dimensions of your customer value.
     5- Outstanding, it's very clear to everyone
     4- I think it's clear and I can explain to others
     3- I know what I mean, but not sure others will
     2- It looks like we took a good guess at it
     1- We have been trying, but I think we're clueless
     0- Not enough info, no clue, we're really missing the point

3) Answer the 2 remaining questions in the space provided:
     1- How do you feel about the clarity and overall sense of value you're bringing to customers?
     2- If you were in your customer's shoes and being sold the Value Commitment you just rated and described, how would you feel?

4) Submit to us. We will provide a confidential summary feedback report within 5 business days with our insight and perspectives on the strengths and weaknesses of your customer value.
