Article, Delivering Greater Return on Events (ROE), September 2005.
Appearing in the debut issue of Meet Magazine, author and President of Synection, Eric Balinski contributed a column on achieving greater return on events.  Long considered a black-hole of corporate spending, meetings, events and training can show quantified contributions to a business’ bottom-line the article states.  The article pointed out that too often measurement is done based upon feel good factors right after an event or meeting.  What needs to change is how meetings, events and training define value upfront and secondly how the timeline of measuring results is determined.
